At SKAPA LLC, every piece is crafted, packaged, and shipped with care from Topsfield, Massachusetts. Because our work is handcrafted or made‑to‑order, preparation and delivery times can vary slightly. The information below explains our current shipping practices for all SKAPA products purchased through www.skapa.life and our Etsy store.
1 | Processing Time

Standard items: Usually ship within 3 – 5 business days after payment confirmation.

Custom orders or engraved pieces: May take 7 – 14 business days to complete before shipping.

Orders placed on weekends or U.S. holidays begin processing the next business day.

2 | Shipping Methods & Carriers
We partner primarily with USPS, UPS, and FedEx for domestic shipments. Service level options at checkout include Standard, Expedited, and Express (where available). Each shipment includes tracking information sent to your contact email upon dispatch.
International orders ship via USPS International or Express Mail Service (EMS) and may be transferred to local postal carriers in the destination country.
3 | Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated by weight, destination, and service level. Free or discounted shipping promotions will be clearly identified on eligible products or order values. For custom quotes or bulk purchases, email info@skapa.life.
4 | Packaging
Each piece is hand‑wrapped and secured in protective packaging to prevent damage in transit. Whenever possible, we use eco‑friendly or recycled materials for boxes and shipping fill. Invoices and receipts do not include pricing for gift shipments unless requested.
5 | Order Tracking
When your order ships, you’ll receive an email with tracking details and a direct link to follow its progress. If tracking shows delivery but you have not received the package, contact the carrier first and then notify us so we can assist with a trace or replacement claim.

7 | International Orders
- Customs and import duties are the buyer’s responsibility.
- Delivery times typically range from 10 – 25 business days depending on location and carrier processing.
- SKAPA LLC is not liable for packages delayed or held by customs.
8 | Lost or Damaged Packages
All orders are insured for their declared value. If a package is lost in transit or arrives damaged, contact info@skapa.life within 7 days of expected delivery and include photos of any damage to the box or item. We will work with the carrier to replace or refund the order.
9 | Incomplete or Incorrect Addresses
Please verify your shipping details before checkout. We cannot be responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. Re‑shipment costs are the buyer’s responsibility if a package returns to us as undeliverable.
10 | Undelivered Items
If tracking confirms non‑delivery after carrier investigation, SKAPA will either reship the item or issue a refund of the purchase price. We cannot offer refunds on orders marked as Delivered by the carrier without supporting documentation of non‑receipt.
11 | Changes or Cancellations
Once an order has entered processing or production, it cannot be altered or cancelled. Contact us immediately at info@skapa.life for assistance before the order ships.
