The third installment of the ABERRATION series marks a tragic role reversal in the timeline of a father and son. Decades after leaving his son stranded, we find the father sitting in the same glass sanctuary of the bus shelter. He waits for a "weekly time together" that has become his only tether to a relationship he finally seeks to nourish. However, the seat beside him remains empty. The cycle of neglect has come full circle; the time never made in the past has now become the time that can never be recovered.

Artistic Style & Mood

This piece mirrors the composition of Part II but with an even more turbulent and heavy impasto technique. The sky above is a churning sea of indigo and charcoal, pressing down on the glowing orange horizon. The father is seen from behind, a silhouette of aging isolation framed by the graffiti and tattered flyers of the shelter. The foreground is a chaotic reflection of urban debris and rain-slicked pavement, symbolizing the "mess" of a life lived with misplaced priorities.
