Utu - (3 of 3 in The Yellow King Series)
Named for the Sumerian sun god, Utu is a solar mandala in controlled explosion — concentric golden rings orbiting a spiked core, surrounded by curling leaf forms that read simultaneously as flame, foliage, and shrapnel. Drips pull downward from the bottom edge like molten metal cooling. The composition vibrates between creation and detonation.
(Yellow King Series)
Three meditations on sovereignty, growth, and decay rendered in amber and gold. YELLOW KING draws from ancient symbol systems — Celtic knotwork, solar iconography, Sumerian divinity — filtering them through a painterly digital language of leaf, metal, and light. Each piece stands alone as a study in sacred geometry and organic dissolution; together they trace an arc from binding to coronation to radiance.
