The mantra is the Green Tara mantra, a sacred phrase in Tibetan Buddhism.
Tara is a female Bodhisattva associated with compassion and enlightened activity in Tibetan Buddhism. The mantra is believed to help overcome obstacles and fears and qrant wishes.
Jaimāpatamgavīh
Sanskrit phrase often associated with the Yoga Sutras of Pataniali. A mantra or invocation. It is believed to offer protection and blessings and used is Devanagari.
Om Mani Padme Hum
Sometimes translated as "The Jewel in the Lotus" is the most common mantra in Tibetan Buddhism and is considered to have high spiritual power. Chanting or even viewing the written form of the mantra is believed to invoke the blessings of Chenrezig, the Bodhisattva of compassion
Each of the six syllables represents a specific concept:
◦ Om: Represents the vibration of the universe and one's impure body, speech, and mind
○ Ma Ni (Jewel): Symbolizes compassion and love.
◦ Pad Me (Lotus): Symbolizes wisdom
○ Hum: Symbolizes purity, which is achieved by the unity of method (compassion/love) and wisdom.
